We have revived lost or forgotten works by Hildegard of Bingen, Amy Beach, Elinor Remick Warren, and Ethel Smyth, among others. We keep up with old favorites by Britten and Brahms.

Our programs unify eclectic musical styles from the serious to the silly, from the ethereal to the foot-stomping, around a central theme. Our 2007-2008 season includes Magnificats by Porpora and Lana Walter, Britten's Ceremony of Carols, and music from two operas of Purcell.  Perhaps most importantly, we'll be premiering the piece commissioned by our choir for founder Mary Lycan, "Herself a Rose Who Bore the Rose," by Eleanor Daley.  Commissioning new works for women's voices is a major part of our mission.  Click here to hear music from our previous concerts.
